3. All you need will be provided for you at this Horseback Riding Center. This includes the
saddle, saddle blanket, stirrups, bridle, etc. The participant should wear a helmet and
where pants and boots.

4. Activity:
• Rules:
o Must be wearing a helmet
o Boots required
o Pants required
• Participants will be riding on a horse with an assistant on each side of the horse,
and someone leading the horse in the front. They will be able to get onto the horse
with help from the assistants and will be on a platform that helps them reach the
horse better. The participant and horse-riding assistants will lead them through
different patterns and tempos that the horse is going at, which will help the
participant stay focused on maintaining their balance on the horse, improving
their posture, and helping their core stabilization.

5. This activity, as stated before, will help participants regain and build their balance,
posture, and core stabilization. On Naples Therapeutic Riding Center’s website, there is a
video where a girl started riding horses but could not walk previously. After years of
horseback riding she was able to start walking and was able to balance on the horse by
herself.
