Aims: This lesson aims to help Ss to:
- Review relative clauses and their related content: Cleft sentences.
Objectives: At the end of the lesson, students are expected to:
 Be able to use cleft sentence to emphasize on a particular part in a sentence.
Approach: Grammar-Translation Method; Communicative Approach.
Teaching Aids/ Materials: PowerPoint, projector, English 11 supplementary material.
Teaching procedure:

B. Preview the previous lesson (5’): Omission of Relative pronouns:
Decide whether or not the relative pronoun can be omitted in the following sentences:

-T then includes the information into one sentence:

sentences.
They are used to emphasize a piece of information,
which can be a subject, an object or an adverbial
phrase.
Structure: It+is/was+….+ relative clause.
-T gives students another example:
