Time Management

Time management is a process of planning the control over the time spent on different activities
thus being smarter than harder. The company employees need to manage their office work time
efficiently effectively in order to perform their office works and all future projects to be done on
time. When the company’s employee manages its task well it effectively controls its time as well
its stress. The better time management process includes planning and organizing daily, weekly
and monthly work plans, planning the to do list, setting aside the uninterrupted blocks of time to
work on priority items, not letting the papers or emails to slow down your work, creating a
written procedures for routine tasks and give self a break from the work while balancing both
work and personal lives.

The time management strategies include starting day with clear focus, having dynamic task list,
focusing on high value activates, minimaxing interruptions, stopping procrastinations, limiting
all the multi-tasking and reviewing whole day to understand how it went. The effects of time
management strategies on employee performance are as follows:

 When an employee effectively manages its time it helps the employee in delivering
his/her all work on right time instead of failing to meet the deadlines due to which the
performance of employee increases.
 Similarly when the employees better manages the time it helps them in providing the
company with a better quality of work which is expected from the employees.
 The better time management helps the employee in enhancing the productivity and
efficiency work and as well as company.
 The better time management reduces the procrastination thus enhancing the performance
of employees.
 Better time management reduces the stress and anxiety of employee which in return
increases the performance of company.
 Better time management enhances the quality of life of an employee thus enhancing his
performance as well.
 The better time management leads to creating more opportunities and career growth of
employee as increase employee performance leads him/her towards promotions and
improvements.
 When the employee better manages the time it eventually makes setting the priorities and
goals of company easier for employees.
 Due to better time management the decision making process becomes easier.
 Likewise the time management strategies helps in improving the communication between
