” Having these devices in the classroom creates an almost irresistible

temptation.
With tablets or laptops, the temptation to click through to something unrelated
to the classroom is real. Even with content filters, the teacher will struggle to
maintain the attention of the student when devices are ubiquitous in the
classroom.
At the very most, we must be cautious and thoughtful when it comes to using
technology in education. It is not an obvious good. We must consider to what
degree the technology might be more efficient, but less useful as to tool to
learning. True, deep learning takes time. Good things take time. It takes time
for the mind to sit with ideas and let them ripen. It takes time for the mind to
acquire new material, to embody a new skill, or deepen understanding. We
must not let technology supplant superior, if less advanced, tools.
With technology, educators, students and parents have a variety of learning tools at
their fingertips. Here are some ways in which technology has improved education over a
“span of time. Technology supports learning 24×7 and builds 21 st century skills. It
expands course offerings and learning materials. Teachers can now communicate with
others across the world, meet the shortcomings of their work, thus providing their
students with the best. Technology gives students immediate access to abundance of
quality information which leads to learning at a much quicker rate than before.

The internet provides a variety of knowledge and doesn’t limit students to one person’s
opinion. Explaining a lesson with the help of audio or visual aids helps in deeper
understanding and better clarification.

Education is one of the most important professions in the working world.

various types of learning.
