1. Teacher starts the lesson by giving pupils a wordsearch game.

PRESENTATION:
1. Teacher shows the pupils videos of Egypitan collection of the British museum
through PowerPoint slides.
2. Teacher asks questions such as :

Have you ever saw mummy with your real eyes? Not from the internet.
3. Teacher tells facts about the museum collections.
1. Teacher explains that they are going to learn about Prince Nebi’s Ring story on
page 34. Teacher asks pupils to look at the picture and guess what’s the story is
about.
2. Teacher elicit answers but not correct the pupils.
3. Teacher plays the CD and have pupils follow along in their books.
4. Teacher checks pupils’ prediction (It is about the missing ring of an Egyptian
prince).
5. Teacher talks about what happens in each picture.
6. Teacher plays the CD again and invites the pupils to shadow read.
7. Teacher plays the CD for the last time and stopping for each line. Pupils repeat
chorally.

PRACTICE:
1. Teacher asks comprehend questions on each picture to the pupils:
Frame 1: Where are the pupils?, Why is Nora sleepy? What time did she wake
up?, Who is Miss Anita?
Frame 2: Where are Selva and his classmates? What is Miss Anita showing
them? Where is the mummy from? What was the prince’s name?
Frame 3: Who is this guy? How did Prince Nebi die? How old was he when he
died?
Frame 4: What did the prince always wear? Where did his family put the ring
when he died? What happened last week? Who is looking for the ring?
2. Teacher plays true/false game with the pupils.
3. Teacher discuss the answer with the pupils.
4. Teacher asks pupils to match the dialogue with the character.

PRODUCTION:
1. Pupils do exercise 1 and 2 in worksheet given.
2. Teachers discusses the answer with pupils.
3. Pupils check their friend’s answer instead answering their own.

1. Pupils turn to their partner and tell 1 thing they learned from the story.
Post Lesson 2. Teacher pick 3 or 4 pupils to share their friends’ opinion to the class.
3. Teacher re-cap the lesson and thanking the pupils’ for their participation.
