ISOLATE AND LOCK OFF FOLLOWING THE APPROPRIATE ENGINEERING


ISOLATION PROCEDURE.
REMOVE ALL GUARDS NECESSARY TO GAIN ACCESS TO MACHINE.
ENSURE THAT THE CORRECT PPE IS USED WHERE APPLICABLE.

Open the guards on the machine.


Clean conveyor belt with hot damp cloth
Inspect band tension & adjust if necessary
Inspect end rollers
Remove plates from base crimp assembly
Clean & inspect base crimps and clean debris from crimp well
Inspect base crimp drive gears & timing belt
Clean & inspect end crimps
Inspect & lubricate drive chain
Inspect drive chain sprockets for wear & damage
Inspect infeed chain, sprockets and pushers for wear / damage
Lubricate infeed chain with IFC SPRAY
Inspect & clean machine sensors
Inspect all machine film rollers
Check operation of film brake
Check vacuum system hoses for damage & blockages
Empty vacuum filter and inspect for holes in fabric
Inspect machine guards including gas struts

LUBRICANTS :-
SLIPSTREAM CGL 320 OIL
SLIPSTREAM I.F.C. LIQUID GEL
SLIPSTREAM TW2 GEL

ENSURE ALL GUARDS ARE REFITTED CORRECTLY.


REMOVE PADLOCKS FOLLOWING THE APPROPRIATE ENGINEERING ISOLATION
PROCEDURE.
RUN AND TEST MACHINE.
CLEAN AREA AND DISPOSE OF ALL RUBBISH SAFELY.
REPORT ANY DEFECTS NOT RECTIFIED AT TIME OF PM.
