The Investigation of the influences of 24 hours gym in Hong Kong

Introduction:

The past decade has seen a variety of 24-hour gyms open up. Recognizing the fact that not
everyone works a 9 to 5 schedule, fitness companies have opened up through the western world,
tapping into a previously untouched market. Now the late-night hospitality worker and the early
morning business manager can both have access to a place of exercise.24-Hour gyms work on a
relatively simple principle. Instead of being signed in and out by a human receptionist, this is
now done by a user-specific code number entered into a keypad on a security door. If the code is
legitimate, the door allows access to the Gym. The doors usually take the form of either a
turnstile or a small, two-stage door process to avoid multiple people entering under the one code
number. Hong Kong, it can often feel like there aren't enough hours in a day, which is why there
are more and more 24-hour gyms opening across the city. Many of them don't require a joining
fee or any long-term contract, making them perfect for people whose schedules are just too
chaotic to commit to anything regular. If you're looking for a place to work out at any hour of the
day, here are five of the best 24-hour gyms in Hong Kong:
Fitness may be defined as the ability to deliver25oxygen to the muscles and to utilize it to
generate energy to support muscle activity during exercise. Maximal oxygen uptake, the highest
rate at which the muscles can consume oxygen during an exercise test to exhaustion, is widely
recognized as the best single measure of gym fitness and has been the criterion measure of youth
fitness for about 80 years. Most comprehensively documented laboratory-deter-mined variable in
pediatric exercise physiology, trainability, and relationship with other health-related variables
during growth and maturation remains shrouded in controversy.
Fitness culture is becoming gradually more globalized, both in terms of body ideals and in terms
of body techniques and philosophies of the body. This article discusses the consequences of the
globalization of fitness. In particular, the article analyzes the relationship between processes of
globalization and how local cultural ideals, gender, and environmental factors may contribute to
the shaping of specific local gym and fitness cultures. The empirical material is based on an
ethnographic and includes observations from fitness centres and the local surroundings. Also,
interviews with personal trainers, group fitness instructors, and other professionals operating
within the fitness field have been conducted. The results show that the standardization and
globalization of fitness influence the construction of a local and national gym and fitness culture
to a great extent.

Objective:
The objectives of the individuals' participants to have a general understanding of their physical
fitness gym condition continue building up a physical fitness database of Hong Kong
people; identify the relationship between physical exercise pattern and physical fitness of Hong
Kong people, and identify priority areas for improvement to enhance the overall physical fitness
of the public.
Literature:
Regular exercise causes a reduction in RHR. The systematic review aimed to assess whether
regular exercise or sports have an impact on the RHR in healthy subjects by taking different
types of sports into account. Systematic literature research was conducted in six databases for the
identification of controlled trials dealing with the effects of exercise or sports on healthy subjects
were performed. The literature search analyzed studies presenting samples fitting the eligibility
criteria. Trials examined the effects of endurance training, strength training, 15 combined
endurance and strength training, additional school sports programs. And unspecified types of
sports. All types of sports. However, only endurance training and significantly decreased in both.
The exercise-induced decreases of RHR were positively related to the pre-interventional and
with the average age of the participants. From this, we can conclude that exercise, especially
endurance training and Gym. This effect may contribute to a reduction in all-cause mortality due
to regular exercise or sports.
This literature review aimed to calculate the effects of any regular sports and exercise Gym of
healthy subjects through meta-analysis by considering different types of sports and exercise and
by considering differences between men and women. The literature search studies meeting the
eligibility criteria. Ten of these articles presented the same data as presented in another article
and therefore, were excluded. Thus, finally, the data of 181 articles encompassing 215 samples
were included in the meta-analytical synthesis. The selection process of the articles included in
this systematic review is presented, and detailed descriptions of the 215 samples included in the
meta-analysis are presented. Looking closely at the observations and narratives presented, one
might argue that at the larger gyms the emphasis is on classes, schedules, and in some ways a
more "scientifically" developed concept of physical culture. In one sense, the expansion of the
fitness industry seems to entail standardization, at least to some extent. This does not, however,
suggest that it is a standardized and globalized gym and fitness culture we are dealing with. The
personal trainers try hard to adjust the routines and schedules to the individual client. This
becomes even more pronounced at the smaller private gyms at which the strategy seems to be
quite the opposite of standardization. The individual client is in focus, and the strategy is
variation, personalized coaching, and "having fun together." These types of gyms are more
expensive and probably attract a slightly different clientele than do the larger gyms. Between the
global and the local is to be understood as an appropriation of local cultures affected by global
flows. It is a composite of structural and symbolic levels, in which the structural and
standardized under-nimbly affects the symbolic and local, but not necessarily suppressing or
"consuming" it. Therefore, choosing your technique and way of approaching/teaching fitness
could also be said to bear a localized response/resistance to the tendencies of global
commodification of social relations within fitness culture. One effect of globalization is probably
this differentiation into the large twenty-four-hour chain and more personalized and expensive
gym and fitness clubs, earlier analyzed and described as an outcome or mirror process of
globalization, which accommodates various local cultures and personalized ways of performing
fitness. There is quite a large market for exclusive gym and fitness clubs, whereas the situation is
different in the countries. In Sweden, for example, there is not yet a large market for exclusive
private and localized Gym. Anytime Fitness, which started in Minnesota in 2002, has more than
3,100 gyms worldwide and more than three million members. Mr Maurice Levine, the chain's
master franchisee for Asia, attributes the brand's exponential growth to a formula of giving
members "unprecedented access". He says: "Anytime Fitness is designed to remove the barriers
to a healthier lifestyle and convenience trumps everything in the fitness industry.”Indeed, as
Meridian puts it, he cans "now 'gym' whenever I want and working late no longer stops me". He
cheekily adds: "Sometimes, when there is no one around because it's so late, I grunt loudly when
exercising and check myself out in the mirror."

Methodology:

To provide a more comprehensive understanding of the research that this review sought to
address, both qualitative evidence, including and mixed-methods studies, was chosen to be
included in the review. This type of review is useful when there is limited research on the topic
being investigated. The most considerable health benefits of physical activity can be seen in
sedentary individuals. However, more active individuals will see additional benefits and
improved fitness levels from 20 minutes of vigorous; high-intensity activity at least three times a
week compared the effects of 24-hours lifestyle intervention and a 24-hours structured exercise
programmer on previously sedentary individuals. This study provided evidence that a lifestyle
intervention programmed is as effective at improving the health of sedentary individuals as an
exercise programmer. A lifestyle intervention programmer includes such things as taking the
stairs, parking further away from a destination and walking, working in the yard, exercising
while watching television, and so forth. Therefore, there is no need to join a gym or health club
to obtain the benefits of physical activity. The research helped gain an understanding of what
clients look for in a gym. It helped us know what to interpret in our new facility and location. It
allowed us to accommodate and please the majority of all participants' needs. This extensive
research could further help with marketing ideas and in improving any flaws that come about.
The goal of this survey was to understand client needs and put our research towards constructing
our new facility. With the results from the survey, we are incredibly pleased to say most of the
clients' needs would be met, and 24-Hour Gym will be the next big Gym. I expect to create a
brand, to begin to have over gyms throughout the state, with thousands of people signed up. I can
reduce the unemployment rate and expand from the Gym to brands in nutritional advice and
programs.24-Hour Gym will provide jobs for people in the community, give the people the Gym
they have been looking for, and help the community and others stay healthy and fit!
