PROFESSIONAL STATEMENT

As one of the PITO TESL participants, I am required to undergo teaching training or

practicum for 10 weeks. This PITO TESL course is implemented as a fulfilment of the
requirements set by the Institute of Teacher Education to complete the course.

Throughout the whole practicum phase in SK Parit Bilal, I am determine to work hard and be
committed to involve myself in various activities and to learn as much as possible in English
Committee. With all the experience gained, I hope to acquire new and improve my skills in
teaching English as a second language.

I will work hard to stay committed in undergoing all activities such as teaching and learning
sessions required and also all activities related to co-curriculum such as uniformed bodies
units, clubs and societies and any other activities related to the school.

In addition, I will also focus my efforts to:

1. Build up the skill and quality of a teacher in TESL.

2. Improve the practice of teacher professionalism and upgrade the quality of teaching
according to the situation and needs.

3. To work hard in educating the students to become wholesome individuals that will serve
a purpose to the country in the future and to become balanced in all aspects; physical,
intellectual, spiritual, emotional and socials.

4. To become fair and just to the students without discriminating them based on genders,
races, beliefs and religions.

I will also try my best to execute all tasks given in the best possible way that can be done.
May all my intentions and efforts is eased and blessed by Allah SWT to shape and educate
the younger generations of Malaysia.
