READY...SET...SAIL INTO A NEW SCHOOL YEAR!!!

The Lake Center Elementary PTO is excited to be back and looking forward to making new
memories this year with all our students and their families. The PTO is an organization of
parents and staff, and we consider every parent or guardian of our students to be members of
the PTO! Being involved with the PTO is a wonderful way to support our school, make new
friends and have fun! We love our volunteers and couldn't do half the things we do without
them. We are always eager to nd more great people, like you, and we promise that the time or
talents you give our school will be worth your while—and fun!

Friday, September 28th, 2018*
The Turtle Trot is the only Major PTO fundraiser for Lake Center
Elementary. It is a Fun Run event where students collect
donations from family, friends and neighbors to support our
school and earn great prizes! *Rain date: Oct 12th

Monday, September 10th – Logo Design Due Date: Turn in logo design to teacher by Monday
Friday, Sept 14th – Kick-Off: Pledge envelopes come home, and online fundraising opens!
Event Sponsor deadline!
Friday, Sept 28th – Turtle Trot: Please join us around the track to cheer the students on!
Friday, October 12th – Donations Due: Return envelopes to teachers & online donations close
End of October – Prize Assembly: Announcement of event total, top classes, top individuals,
drawing winners & prizes distributed. Every $5 raised earns an entry to a special prize drawing!
