Global Campus is a web-based student information system designed to meet the
unique needs of medium and large K-12 schools. It is composed of a bouquet of ser-
vices that address every single activity in schools.
Overview

From reception to Alumni, Global Campus has it all.

The solution is an extremely reliable and flexible set of modules that are shaped to ac-
commodate the unique needs of schools. We, at Global Horizons, know that no two
implementations look the same and special care should be taken to fully analyze the
needs of the school; our solution was engineered in a way that planning, adaptation,
deployment, implementation, migration, and integration should require minimum in-
tervention from the supplier and that our tools should adapt and follow the client
needs and not vice versa. This is why, Global Campus is so dynamic and flexible to the
point that users can customize and create their own applications forms, data entry
screens, and last but not least, create and generate custom reports.

Inquiry and Enrollment

Log all the inquiries you are receiving.


This innovative service will allow your enrollments officers to review
future enrollments within the school’s definable enrollment stages
and then make changes or adjustments.
This service is integrated with global gate where new parents can
submit their application form online.
It also provides a detailed analysis of future years’ enrolment numbers by
combining ‘continuing’ student numbers with confirmed new enroll-
ments. This becomes a reliable tool for the business manager to evaluate
and study actual against expected occupancies.
Use email and/or SMS to communicate with parents during the enrollment process.

Registration
Registration and Bulk Invoicing

Once your registration is started, Parents and students can enjoy a mul-
titude of services to complete their registration online. The flexible and
parameterized registration setup will allow you to define beforehand
the compulsory registration items as well as the various optional items
the parents and/or the students can choose from. The registration can be performed online through the Global Gate Ser-
vice, through tablets, or directly through the system.
Make your choice then retrieve a handful of important documents ranging from invoices, receipts, delivery notes, and
others.
Most importantly, plan, forecast, and generate your next year POs through the forecast report that you can consult by a
click of a button

Details The Details Module maintains the data records of Parents, Students, Courses, Teachers,
and Staff. This module enables you to store all personal, academic, professional and
Details Module history data regarding a student, his/her parents, and his/her siblings. It is also used to
create the courses for a specific grade and program, setup the report
card and marking structure, define skill based evaluations criteria, set
timetable related parameters, and others.
Staff personal details are inherited from Global HR and academic relat-
ed data is rendered available for access by academicians and curricu-
lum planners.
The Details module can be adapted to your needs as all data groups,
data entry forms, and reports can be customized by the user and saved
for any later access.
Attendance
The attendance module helps track students' attendance. It maintains
the attendance electronically with the facility to customize the process.
The attendance module features a new way to log in attendance
through the use of electronic hand held devices like Pocket PC's. The
module offers a variety of reports to show attendance records. Schools
may define a set of Attendance Exception Rules against which students
are automatically evaluated.
Attendance can be recorded by period or daily with rules to link the period
attendance occurrences to the daily attendance.
Parents and students can be notified through SMS to their kids’ attendance status.

Transportation
The transportation module is designed to ensure complete control over
the school's fleet of buses. This module features bus stop & route alloca-
tion to student/staff, number of students on each stop/route, number of
stops on each route. Student distribution over bus routes, overfill and
capacity of vehicles, rosters in various format whether by driver, by su-
pervisor or by class can be managed.

Timetable
The timetable module has been designed to simplify the most time con-
suming task in a school, the creation of a timetable. The timetable mod-
ule features manual generation of class/teacher/room timetables and
provisions for a teacher substitution list for absent teachers, a list of
teachers teaching a particular subject for a class/all classes, and a list of
all class teachers. The information is also presented in various report
formats.
The timetable allows two teacher to share a single room and a single
course to be distributed to 2 teachers and 2 separate rooms.
EMR
Medical Records
EMR typically refers to a student’s
healthcare information and profile.
The medical record for each student
includes:
Emergency Contact Information,
School Medical Data, Medical Con-
ditions, Immunization Details,
Emergency contacts, Illness History,
Supplementary Information, Man-
agement Information,
and Notes with attachments.
The Medical Alert system warns your staff of student specific conditions or illnesses when accessing records .

Calendar
Off days/Events
The Calendar service caters for daily activities and events. The Cal-
endar is fully integrated with Global Gate. Homework, class work,
extracurricular activities and many more can be logged into the
system and communicated to the students, parents, teachers, and
community.
Among others, the Calendar can be used to communicate personal messages to any entity of Global Campus whether it
is a single student, teacher, parent, or a group or cycle.

IEP WRITER
Individual Education Plans and Learning Plans
With our IEP writer you can use our statement bank to rapidly cre-
ate IEPs or Learning Plans.
Writing IEPs or Learning Plans is an essential step towards supporting
pupils with special or additional needs. They provide a concise summary
of the issues faced by the child and the strategies schools put in place to
address these. Our IEP Writer system provides a quick and easy way to
write Learning Plans of any type and comes pre packed with a large
statement bank, written by experienced education professionals.

mance, generating all sorts of statistical data and, last but not
least, responding to needs and requests based on data and

delivery, monitoring students' and teachers' performance within a sub-
ject or department, could not be easier. The HOD dashboard helps the
user understand his/her stakeholders and provide all sort of monitoring,
analysis, and coordination tools in the objective of fulfilling the depart-
ment's objectives.

Supervisors:
While the above dashboards are concerned with groups and teachers,
the Supervisor Dashboard focuses on individual students. Locate a stu-
dent and depict all his/her academic, behavioral, and performance de-
tails in one centralized space. Answering parents or concerned parties on
any aspect related to a student cannot be easier.
Teachers’ Lounge
The Teachers’ Lounge is a revolutionary classroom management
solution designed to meet the evolving needs of today's educator
with unparalleled ease-of-use. A wide array of functions to facilitate
differentiated instruction, formative assessment, all within an ele-
gant user interface designed to ignite widespread and enthusiastic
end-user adoption. It is designed to allow educators to assess their
students' progress from many different angles in order to maximize
student achievement.
With the teachers’ lounge, teachers can create their own point and
credit tables along with their personal comments banks. Linking a
mark to a comment and representing it in a color can only help the
teacher to read the progress of the student just by watching at the
color spectrum. Identifying students who would need a push or
some extra attention is only locating a specified color.
The Assignments Book will allow teachers to electronically design
their grading book and plan their assignment grading method from
a variety of methods. Whether a Total Sum, an Average, or a
Weighted average, the teacher will not but be pleased with the flex-
ibility this module offers to him. Freedom is another aspect of the
assignments module as it will give the teacher the choice to weigh
his/her students’ work and decide what would be the most repre-
sentative final grade to send to school for the distributed report
card. Marks are good in evaluating the knowledge of a student in a
certain subject; but are they enough to evaluate the acquired skills?
This is why the skills reporting module is a comprehensive tool that
will record and evaluate the skill acquired by the student over time
for a specific subject. The evaluation becomes qualitative instead of
quantitative and this method cannot but help the teacher evaluate
the real progress in acquiring any specific skill. Last but not least, the
teacher will have access to handful of useful reports, graphs, and
statistics that would help him evaluate his/her grade distribution
and make decision about his/her own performance.
Marks distribution and weighting play an important role in evalu-
ating and mainly orienting a student to his/her future career. Cre-
ating different scenarios of subjects’ weight distribution cannot but
help the advisor and the counselor identify the subject that the stu-
dent is at ease with or the ones where he/her might need assistance
and skill development .
TRC
Teachers’ Resource Center

Lessons plans, creating and sharing resources and most importantly clas-
sifying the resources for a fast retrieval based on keyword, curriculum,
language and other criteria is the main objective behind the Teachers’
Resource Centers.
Today, most of the teachers rely on the internet in finding resources
which they would probably use once then either lose the link because it
is not longer available or lose its location. With the Teachers’ Resource
center the teacher can directly link the resource to his/her lesson plan and save a copy within the resource center and
archive it using a set of keywords and classification criteria that will render finding, sharing, and storing the resource so
easy.
Along with a detailed curriculum and other keywords classifications, Global Horizons has developed and gathered a series of
resources ranging from animations, simulations, PowerPoint presentations and others. The teacher will be able to locate all
sort of resources to be used in the classroom; and when coupled with an interactive board and other multimedia setups, the
Teacher Resource Center will render the learning experience more enjoyable and more productive .
