Transtar   Transformations Crossword
This game tests students on the
reflection, rotation,
compression, and stretching of
the shape. The students will
have to choose where the
translation must take place in
order for the shape to fall where
the game desires. As pairs,
students must complete 7 levels
of the game with a performance
grade of A or greater. If they fail
to pass a level with a grade of A
or greater then they must restart
the level. To cross out this box,
a screenshot of each level grade
must be provided.
Venn Diagram
As pairs, students will create a
Venn diagram on the website
provided. Here they will
compare a function to their ten
possible transformations. On the
left-side of the Venn diagram,
the students will list exclusive
characteristics the original
function shows. On the right-
side of the Venn diagram, the
students will list exclusive
characteristics of the function’s
transformation. In the middle of
the Venn diagram, students will
list characteristics that the
original function and its
transformation share. To cross
out this box, students must
explain their Venn diagram to
the teacher.
Identity Reflections, Rotations
and Translations
In this activity, students will
practice rotations, reflections,
and translations. They will be
showed an image and they will
be asked to find one of three
translation mentioned. As
individuals, the students must
