methods, capital, quality, technology, and management. The fact is that many productivity gains
in the past have come from technological improvements. This is the easiest way to finish the
product. Unlike the other country that do not use advanced technology. In that case, in order to
keep up with production, they must increase the amount of human labor.

By the way, in manufacturing plant have a lot of equipment or machinery where


workers manufacture items or operate machines which process each item into another. Like
the United States plant that uses automatic equipment while the foreign plant cannot be called
a manufacturing plant due to the higher percentage of labor they do not use automated
equipment. That is why it can cause productivity figures to be misleading.

Productivity means the capacity of manufacturing products and services. The


productivity figures are quite different between two because in the United States their
manufacturing plant uses more automated equipment for processing. Therefore, only then do
they focus on the cost of automated equipment and this leads to a reduction in the working
hours of labor because most of the work is done automatically by the equipment. While the
other country their manufacturing plant uses a higher percentage of labor. Therefore, they
spend more on paying and hires a worker.

Although they have different uses for producing but they both produce the same item,
each for sale in their respective countries. It is up to the company where they are more
comfortable in producing their products as long as the quality is good, either automated
equipment or higher percentage of labor.

Yes, what Sam thinks about sending an anonymous note to Dom’s boss is an ethical one.
This is the way to do that by sending anonymous note to the boss to control the problem.
Because Dom has been fudging the weekly productivity figures, so it is against the business
moral practice and principles. Some of Sam's co -workers in the company are dropping their
morale which can led to slow in productivity figures in the future. If the person is in the high
management position who is not doing a good job at work and with employees, then this can
change the behavior of the employees in the company which will affect the production and
processing of the company.

If I were Sam I would write a note to boss Dom that what he is doing at work is not
good, he should stop it and change his behavior because it's annoying for employees. If giving
him a note was not enough for him to change then I will immediately report to the
management. That the boss is fudging the weekly productivity numbers will create problem for
the company because some employees are dropping their morale. Then fire him, otherwise
change his position and he would no longer be the boss in the company. In addition, reduce his
salary to be adjusted to his new job position. The management will find a new boss or will have
a vote then the representatives are in the high management position. The members,
employees, or workers in the company should choose who is the best to fit in that position. To
those who have a lots of votes will be the new boss in the company.
