learning. Not that the Washington Boys and Girls Club is part of this support network. Contact
Director, Emma Benedyk, at 919-518-9609 if you are interested in joining the B&GC and having your
child receive daily support while they participate in their remote learning.

Grade Level Welcome.

This is key information from your child’s team of teachers. During this year, several teachers will be
working to grow and challenge your child. Click on the link for your child’s grade level for specific
schedules and background information from your child’s grade level team. By noon this Sunday,

Attendance
Being present and engaged each day is just as important in our remote learning environment as
when students are in the school buildings. Our teachers will be working hard to create engaging
lessons and meaningful activities for your child. We know you will also be juggling home and work
responsibilities. Together, we can ensure our kids are present each day to continue to grow and
thrive. A student is considered present for daily attendance during a remote learning day if either of
these statements are true:
● If a student completes their daily assignments, either online or offline; and/or if a student is
present in synchronous instruction.
● If a student has a daily check-in, a two-way communication, with a classroom teacher.
