REVIEW THE TRAINING OBEJCTIVE THAT YOU HAVE DEVELOPED. ENSURE
THEY MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENT:
1. Performance :
To change the flat tyre correctly and safely

2. Conditions :
Changing the flat tyre at the soft ground

3. Standards :
To change the flat tyre using the right equipment and using the correct
methods at the soft ground.

DESIGN HOW YOU WANT TO CONDUCT THE TRAINING FOR THE

PERFORMANCE AND DECIDE THE FOLLOWING:
1. What type of training you want to design?
The type of design that I will use is on the job training. This is because on the
job training is the best way to learn any new skill. Besides, it is also a hand on
method of teaching the skills where the trainees will need to practice the skills
during the training sessions. For an example is changing the flat tyres at the
soft ground. It is using different knowledge and skill when changing the tyre
on the soft ground and the hard ground. When changing on the hard ground,
trainees can use the normal way. But, when on the soft ground, trainees must
put something hard and flat like bricks, hard wooden board or flat steel board
to make sure the when trainees using the jack to lift the car, the jack does not
drowned into the ground and failed to lift the car.

2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of the training design of your
selection?
One of the advantages of my selection of training design are the selected
design can reduce the cost of training session. This is because this design
does not need classroom, so I will not to rent for it. I can bring the trainees to
the nearest soft ground such as playground or park. I can also just using my
car for doing the practising to change the flat tyres. The trainees also can earn
as they learn because the training design selected is more like practical
training so the trainees have opportunity to do it by themselves.
But, there are also the disadvantages of the selected training design. One of
them is easily to get an accident. This is because on the job training design
does not require initial knowledge like in the classroom, so the probability of
having injury is high. For an example, when changing the flat tyre on the soft
ground, trainees may expose to injury when conducting to put the bricks or
wooden board under the car such as trainees’ head will probably hit the car.
3. What are the methods in your training design?
The method that I selected for my training design is job instruction training
(JIT).

4. Why you have selected the training method?

Job instruction training is the systematic, fast and effective method for
teaching the trainees to do a job correctly and safely. There are 4 steps of JIT
and they are preparation, presentation, performance and follow up. I will
prepare the appropriate location for learning and reiterating the importance of
job safety. Then, I present and demonstrate each step of changing the flat
tyres using the right equipment such as identify the size of the wheel nuts and
use the correct size of wrench while the trainees observe. Besides, I will make
sure the trainees practice the task such as give opportunity to trainees to
complete the step of the processes changing the flat tyres. Lastly, follow up
the trainees as they complete the steps and correct their mistake of action
before they become a habits.

5. How do you intend to evaluate the performance?

I hope the lesson of the training design can be apply from the trainees to
change the flat tyres on the soft ground using the right equipment and correct
methods without set aside the safety issues.
