The table illustrates the Canadians’ leisure time in doing activities
in different age groups. Overall, it was significant that watching TV and videos was the most frequent activity that people usually did in their free time throughout the time. Another striking feature was that socializing with 4 or more people and group exercise, the sport was downward trends while others were rapidly changed. According to the time length in activities from numerous age groups, there was a different statistic between the top and the bottom sections. First of all, the trends of watching TV and videos were fluctuated with the start of 1,200 in teenagers but then slightly decreased in the groups of 20s and 30s and increased back in the groups of 40s to 70s+, which was respectively 500 and 1,100 hours. Second, the total hours in socializing with 4 or less people, individual exercise and cinema accounted for the minor rate of Canadians’ activities. On the other hand, the rate of socializing with 4 or more people and groups exercise were downwards trends. With the begin of 350 and 450 hours respectively, it gradually decreased and took the bottom of 25 and 0 hours in total in the groups of 70+ ages. Moreover, there was a huge gap between teens and 70+ ages in the total time of socializing with 4 or more people, which was approximately fourteen times higher.
