AWARENESS OF ALLAH’S PRESENCE

RECITE AND REFLECT ON THE FOLLOWING QUR'AANIC

VERSES DAILY

‫ـــم‬ َ ْ ‫َــك ْم َأي‬

ْ ‫ـــن مَ ـــا كُن ُت‬ ُ ‫ـــو مَ ع‬
َ ‫َو ُه‬
He is with you wherever you are

َ ُ ْ‫ونَـح‬
َ ْ‫ـــن حَ ـــ ْب ِل ال‬
‫ـــو ِريـ ْـ ِـد‬ َ ‫ـــن أ ْق‬
ْ ‫ـــر ُب ِإلَي ْـــ ِه ِم‬ َ
And We are closer to him than his jugular vein.

‫َـــك َمـــا َأ ْســـ َم ُع َو َأ ٰرى‬

ُ ‫إِنَّـ ِن ْي مَ ع‬
Indeed, I am with you both, I hear and I see

َ َ
َ َ ‫ـــم يَعْـلَ ْـم بِأ َّن الل َه ي‬
ٰ‫ـــرى‬ ْ َ‫أل‬
Does he not know that Allāh sees?

َ
‫الص ُــد ْو ُر‬ ِ ‫ـــم َخـــائ ِ َن َة ْالأ ْع ُي‬
ِ ‫ـــن َومَ ـــا ت ُ ْـخ‬
ُّ ‫ـــفي‬ ُ َ‫يَــعْ ل‬
He knows the treachery of the eyes and what the breasts conceal

‫ـــولُّوا فَـــث َ َّم َوجْ ُه الّٰلهِ ۚ ِإ َّن الّٰل َه‬ َ

َ ُ ‫ـــر ُب ۚ فَــأيْـــ َن َمـــا ت‬
ِ ‫ـــر ُق َوالْ َمـ ْغ‬
ِ ‫َولّٰله الْم َْش‬
ٌ ‫ـــع َعلِي ْـ‬
‫ــم‬ ٌ ‫َو ِاس‬
And to Allah belongs the east and the west. So wherever you turn, there
is the Face of Allah. Indeed, Allah is all-Encompassing and Knowing.

One pious man used to say that Allāh Rabbul Ízzat had inspired him to say to His
slaves, “When you commit sins, you shut all those doors from where a creature can
see you and you do not close the door from where I (ALLAH) can see you. Does this
mean that of all those who are able to see you, I am the least important.?” Allahu
