Travis and Rosey Zacharias
Travis and Rosey have just returned to Paraguay this week after
six months in Canada. Pray that God will guide them as they
readjust and become involved in the church planting Sand or Stone
effort in the city of Minga Guazu.
It is summer time in Paraguay and the children are on holiday Two friends were walking through the desert.

They kept on walking, until they found an oasis,

where they decided to take a bath.

The one who had been slapped got stuck in the mire
_____________________________________________________ and started drowning, but the friend saved him.
_____________________________________________________ After he recovered from the near drowning he wrote on a stone:
_____________________________________________________ ‘Today my best friend saved my life.’
_____________________________________________________ The friend who had slapped and saved his best friend asked him,
_____________________________________________________ ‘After I hurt you, you wrote in the sand and now,
_____________________________________________________ you write on a stone. Why?’
_____________________________________________________ The friend replied, ‘When someone hurts us
_____________________________________________________ we should write it down in sand,
_____________________________________________________ where winds of forgiveness can erase it away.
_____________________________________________________ But , when someone does something good for us,
we must engrave it in stone where no wind can ever erase it.’
