ALTERNATIVE LEARNING SYSTEM ACTION PLAN

Program Title: ALTERNATIVE LEARNING SYSTEM (ALS)

School / District: Haponan Elementary School, Caramoan North District


This activity will boost and strengthen the delivery of Alternative Learning
System to the doorstep of the Out of School Youth of the community of
Program Description Haponan, Caramoan, Camarines Sur. It will ensure that there will be no left
behind.
Mode of Delivery, The activities will be carried out mainly by the School ALS Coordinator
Duration, and Level of together with the ALS Instructional Managers and Volunteers with the

School.
This activity will ensure the implementation of free education to the residents
of Haponan Elementary School. This will encourage those who are out of the
Values: formal system to be engaged in attaining education through alternative
delivery modes. This will create a sense of hope for the least, last and the
lost.

The program will lift the quality of people’s lives through education by giving
Competencies: them new hope to be at par with the formal education. It will give them hope
for their future lives.
The direct beneficiaries of this event are;
 All Out of School Youths and interested party of Haponan

The activity will be funded by the BLGU of Haponan Elementary School.

Organizational The institution of Haponan Elementary School together with Haponan BLGU

Developmental Impact: This will improve the literacy and numeracy of the barangay community.

Activities:

The School ALS Coordinator together with the ALS Volunteers will coordinate
with the District ALS Coordinator for the program updates of Alternative
Learning System.
A. Pre-Implementation In case there is a vacancy of Instructional Managers, the School ALS

applicants and volunteers.
A constant visit to the district for updates of the program will be done by the

ALTERNATIVE SYSTEM (ALS)


ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT

Haponan Elementary School has three Literacy Volunteers assigned to the community,one in the barangay
proper and one in the sitio. Constant and intensive meeting with the learners are done by the hardworking and
literacy stewards of Haponan Elementary School. During the 2017 Accreditation and Equivalency Test held at
Caramoan Central School on November 19, 2017. There were 9 takers from Brgy. Haponan. The initial result was
released and there were only three passers within Caramoan North District and one of them was from Haponan. A
lowest percentage of passers was recorded nationwide but a passer from Haponan was a reflection of the work done
by literacy workers and Haponan ALS family. A revision of result was done and from one passer, after the final result
was released, Haponan came to have five passers in which four from A&E in Secondary and one from A&E
Elementary level. The passers were:
