The School Improvement Plan (SIP) of Aslong Elementary School (AES) of Aslong, T
Libmanan North, Libmanan, Camarines Sur was conceptualized and framed in response to and E

school will undertake which are very important during the continuous improvement process.

With the help of the community, responsible teachers and other stakeholders who
composed the School Planning Team (SPT) and School Project Team, we will start to
expand more the three key result areas in the Basic Education- the access, quality and
governance through evidence-based, result based, and learner-centered education.

VISION
We dream of Filipinos who passionately love their country and whose competencies and
values enable them to realize their full potential and contribute meaningfully to building the
nation.
As a learner-centered public institution, the Department of Education continuously
improves itself to better serve its stakeholders.

MISSION
To protect and promote the right of ever Filipino to quality, equitable, culture-based and
complete Basic Education where: Students learn in a child-friendly, gender-sensitive, safe and
motivating environment; Teachers facilitate learning and constantly nurture every learner;
Administrators and staff, as stewards of the institution ensure enabling and supportive
environment for effective learning to happen; Family, community and other stakeholders are

ASLONG ELEMENTARY SCHOOL that was established officially in 2002 is situated in
Aslong, Libmanan, Camarines Sur, with a total land area of 5 000 square meters. It is one of the
landfield type of school at Libmanan North District with a distance of 5.3 kilometers from the
District Office at Libod I, Libmanan, Camarines Sur. The mode of transportation is through
habal-habal and Tricycle service from the Municipal Road. The school is composed of (7) seven
teachers and headed by Teacher- In- Charge.
Classroom-student ratio as of S/Y 2022-2023 is 1:29, there are seven (8) classrooms in
the school all of them are made of concrete materials. One (1) of these needed minor repairs
and One (1) needed Major Repair due to the past calamities and the fact that it was built more
or less 20 years ago.

The Enrolment, on S/Y 2022- 2023 gained .9.15% increase 203 compared to last school
year (2021-2022) enrollment which is 183 only.
With regards to academic and non-academic achievements, Aslong Elementary School
bagged the 2 Star on Water, Sanitation and Hygiene in Schools (WinS) Program and ranked
2nd place in the District Gulayan sa Paaralan (GPP) contest, for school year 2021-2022.
Despite the pandemic this school year (’21-’22), learners actively joined in different contests and
managed to seized 1st place in District Chaching jingle contest, 2nd place in essay writing, 3rd
place in Malikhaing Pagbasa. In the recently held Boy scout of the Philippines (BSP) Got Talent
district contest, we ranked 1st in Pagsulat ng Sanaysay and 2nd place in Congressional; 3rd place
in Popular Dance and participated in poster making and self -peace contest.
In addition, AES is a recipient of Special Education Fund (SEF) worth twenty thousand
pesos paints and other paraphernalia from the Municipality of Libmanan.

She can’t communicate and had a hard time controlling the pen.

In school year 2022-2023, 28% of the total enrollees were beneficiary of DSWD-4P’s
assistance program. 73 out of 257.

Other Problems Encountered:


In the past school years, the encounter between New People’s Army (NPA) and the
Arm Forces of the Philippines (AFP) were noted. Last time it happened was on September
28, 2022.
High case of absentees- students failed to become at least punctual or complete their
100% monthly attendance due to distance from home to school, both parents were working
leaving the child to mend for themselves or to the care of guardian, and financial problems of
their family, making them opt to work (intermediate pupils) at least once or twice a week,
affecting some school days.

Lacking Facilities and Instructional Materials


Apart from the support outpoured by the National, Municipal and Barangay Government,
the School still needs the following facilities to facilitate and to continue catering quality
education:

Based on the analysis and school current situation the following are the top Priority
Improvement Areas (PIAs), in order to attain the school goals and objectives for the succeeding
three school years. These are the Non-readers (frustrational level) specially in primary grade
(grade 1-3), non-numerates and low performance level in all subject area, high cases of

Project Statement: Adhere to Every Child a Reader Program (ECARP) of DepEd, which aims
to make every child a reader.

Project Title: Operation PARDOs (PARDOs Ko Ihohome Visitation Ko)


Project Statement: the project aims to conduct home visitation to PARDOs and at the same
time give remediation to them. Special attention will be given to them so that they wont feel
neglected or left behind.
Project Objective: To reduce the number of PARDOs

Project Title: English & Math Plus Project


Project Statement: Huge number of pupils, specifically primary grade were found out and
identified as frustrational level in reading ability and with low comprehension on pupils in
intermediate. That’s why English Plus is prepared. As for pupils with low numeracy skills, math
Plus is the answer. Teachers in the above mentioned subject will provide these pupils their extra
time to discuss their identified deficiency and address possible long term solutions.
Project Objective: To lessen the number of frustrational reader, inability to comprehend and
low numerate students.

Project Title: Math Problem Mo, Solusyon Ko


Project Statement: Pupils at all grade level find Mathematics subject difficult hence some of
them failed the subject. This project will provide tutorial session which focus on numerically
challenge pupils in order for them to pass the subject.
Project Objective: To lessen the number of low numerate students.

Project Statement: Players / Athletes in different events contested always aim to win. This
project will help them achieve their goal by providing extra attention and practice to those
players/athletes who are dedicated to their field of sports.

Project Title: Tulong sa Paaralan – (Project COC, Calovenigan and Upuan Ko.
Aayusin Ko)
Project Statement: This is the school’s alternative options in funding projects to continue its
smooth operations with the help of stakeholders.
Project Objective: Improvement of school’s facilities, construction of washing area,
productive, clean and green school ground and strengthen the relationship among parents,
teachers, barangay council and other stakeholders of the school.
Root Cause: Insufficient fund (MOOE) and remoteness of the area.
