(Bailey, 2015). When making predictions, students envision what will come next in
the next text or scenario, based on their prior knowledge. It encourage the students
to actively think ahead and ask questions. It also allows the students to understand
the story better. It make a connection on what they read or what they are watching.
They are interacting with the text or movie while predicting to the next scenario.

Synopsis:
Frozen
Princess Elsa of Arendelle possesses magical powers that allow her to control and
create ice and snow, often using them to play with her younger sister, Anna. After Elsa
accidentally injures Anna with her magic, their parents, the King and Queen, take both
siblings to a colony of trolls led by Grand Pabbie. He heals Anna, but alters her
memories so that she forgets about Elsa's magic. Grand Pabbie warns Elsa that she
must learn to control her powers, and that fear will be her greatest enemy. The King
and Queen isolate both sisters within the castle, closing the castle gates to their
subjects. In an effort to protect her sister from her increasingly unpredictable powers,
Elsa ceases all contact with Anna, creating a rift between them. When the sisters are
teenagers, their parents are lost at sea during a storm.
Following her 21st birthday, Elsa is to be crowned queen of Arendelle. She is afraid
that the kingdom's citizens might find out about her powers and fear her. The castle
gates open to the public and visiting dignitaries for the first time in years. Anna falls in
love at first sight. Elsa's coronation takes place without incident, but she still remains
distant from Anna. Anna and Hans develop a romantic connection during the
coronation festivities, and he impulsively proposes to her, but Elsa objects when they
seek her blessing. The emotional strain causes Elsa to accidentally unleash her
powers before the court. Branded a monster by the Duke, Elsa flees to the North
Mountain, where she finally acknowledges her powers, building an ice palace in which
to live a hermit life. In the process, her magic unintentionally engulfs Arendelle in an
eternal winter.
Reaching the ice palace, Anna meets Elsa. When Anna reveals what has become of
Arendelle, a horrified Elsa confesses she does not know how to undo her magic. Her
fear causes her powers to manifest themselves once more and she accidentally
freezes Anna's heart, seriously injuring her. Elsa then creates a giant snow monster
named Marshmallow, who chases Anna, Kristoff, and Olaf away. Realizing the effects
of Elsa's spell on Anna, Kristoff takes her to the trolls, his adoptive family. Grand
Pabbie reveals that Anna will freeze solid unless "an act of true love" reverses the
spell.
Olaf frees Anna, and they venture into the blizzard outside to meet Kristoff, who Olaf
has revealed is in love with her. Hans confronts Elsa outside, claiming that she killed
Anna, causing Elsa to break down and abruptly stop the storm. Anna spots Hans about
to kill Elsa; she leaps in the way and freezes solid, stopping Hans. Devastated, Elsa
hugs and mourns over her sister, who thaws out, her heroism constituting "an act of
true love".

Anastasia
Based on the beloved animated movie from 20th Century Fox, Anastasia is both a
heartwarming and heart-wrenching dive into one of history’s biggest unanswered
questions: what happened to Grand Duchess Anastasia Romanov? Set amidst the
turmoil of the Russian revolution with the Bolshevik regime on the rise, Anya, an
amnesiac orphan stranded in what was once the Russian capital, St. Petersburg, is
on a quest to rediscover her past which she believes lies in Paris. Joined by a dashing
conman, Dmitry, and an ex-aristocrat, Vlad Popov, who want to use Anya to
bamboozle the only remaining Romanov, Dowager Empress Marie into believing that
Anya is the lost Anastasia, she escapes to Paris with a determined Soviet officer on
their heels. Including classic songs from the motion picture like “Journey to the Past”
and “Once Upon a December”, Anastasia explores one determined girl’s journey to
find home, love, and family as she discovers who she was and embraces who she is
meant to be.

Mary Poppins
Mary Poppins is the story of the Banks family who live in a big house in London on
Cherry Lane. Things are not going well for the family, the children, Jane and Michael,
are out of control and are in need of a new nanny. Jane and Michael have their own
ideas about what sort of caretaker they should have, while their parents—and in
particular Mr. Banks—are insistent on someone strict for the job. When a mysterious
young woman named Mary Poppins appears at their doorstep, the family finds that
she’s the answer to their prayers, but in the most peculiar way. Mary Poppins takes
the children on many magical and memorable adventures, but Jane and Michael aren’t
the only ones she has a profound effect upon. Even grown-ups can learn a lesson or
two from the nanny who advises that “anything can happen if you let it.”

Lion king
Based on the 1994 Disney animated feature film of the same name and William
Shakespeare’s Hamlet, The Lion King is the story of Simba, an adventurous and
energetic lion cub who is next in line to be king of the Pride Lands, a thriving and
beautiful region in the African savanna. When Simba’s father Mufasa is killed by his
uncle Scar, though, Simba is led to believe that his father’s death is his fault, and he
is encouraged to run away forever. Scar seizes power and with his already unstable
mind deteriorating, the Pride Lands experiences a darkness and desolation from which
only Simba can save the animals of the kingdom. Featuring classic songs from the film
such as “Circle of Life,” “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King,” “Hakuna Matata,” and “Can You
Feel the Love Tonight,” The Lion King is a story and a spectacle about identity, family,
and responsibility that is enjoyed worldwide by people of all ages.

Les Miserables
Set in the post-Napoleonic era just after the French Revolution, Les Misérables is the
story of Jean Valjean, a convict, who has just been released from prison after serving
19 years for stealing a loaf of bread. Influenced by the bishop to begin a new life, Jean
assumes a new name and moves to a new location where he becomes a respected
citizen and makes a fortune in manufacturing. The police inspector, Javert, is
suspicious of him, but it is not until Jean’s conscience prods him to reveal his true
identity that he is forced to flee.
The rest of the novel is set in Paris, where Jean changes residences frequently and
assumes a number of identities in order to avoid arrest. Fulfilling a promise to her dying
mother Fantine, he rescues a young girl named Cosette from the evil Thénardier family
and becomes her guardian. They spend many years in a convent where Cosette grows
into a beautiful young lady. Eventually, Jean leaves this safe haven so that Cosette
may have a more normal life.
Cosette falls in love with Marius, a young lawyer, who joins a band of revolutionists at
a barricade. Unbeknownst to Marius, Jean is also at the barricade; when he is
wounded, Jean, who has spared the life of his constant adversary Javert, risks his life
to carry Marius to safety through the sewer system of Paris, returning him to his family
and Cosette.
Against all odds, Jean struggles to follow the bishop’s teachings and become a good
man. It is not until after the wedding of Cosette and Marius and he is on his deathbed
that he is at last able to stop running from his past and reveal all. Not until then does
he finally find peace.

2. Message of the video: you must learn to move on with your life. You must
think of your future and be successful one. (The students answer may vary if
they will agree or disagree to the message of the video.)
3. Message of the video: you must think the blue print of your dreams in life. You
should set a goal or action plan and move with faith. There will be no obstacle
in achieving your dreams. (The students answer may vary if they will agree
or disagree to the message of the video.)
2. The action of the Requiem immediately follows the suicide of Willy Loman, who
fatally crashes his vehicle so that his family can receive his life insurance
money. The stage directions explain that the Loman family moves to the end of
the stage's apron (the part of the stage closest to the audience) to signify that
18
they are gazing upon Willy's grave. In these final moments before the play ends,
the family mournfully discusses the legacy of Willy, shifting between harsh
criticism of his decision to commit suicide and sympathy for Willy's lost dreams
of professional success.
Each character in this scene (Linda, Biff, Happy, and Charley) offers his or her
own assessment of Willy's life, and Arthur Miller leaves the audience with a
sense that none of these characters are quite correct in their understanding of
Willy. Linda, Willy's wife, is confused because very few people attended the
funeral service, a reality that is in direct opposition to everything Willy told her
about a salesman's life. The hard truth is that most of the connections Willy had
through his business have already died themselves. Linda also claims that Willy
'only needed a little salary,' a remark that reveals her somewhat shallow
understanding of what actually drove Willy. For Willy, it was never about making
money; it was about being well-liked.
