Task 1: Academic Integrity

INTRODUCTION :
Well, academic integrity means representing
ourselves with the values of honesty, trust, fairness,
respect and being responsible whilst learning,
teaching and research. Knowledge of educational
integrity can assist you reach your studies, offer you
agency to specific your own concepts and assist you
succeed by understanding once and the way to
acknowledge sources and the way to avoid
educational misconduct.

Importance of Academic Integrity :


Academic integrity can be very imperative in
various reasons. Academic integrity is
particularly important because it allows you to
contribute your own voice and understanding
about the subject, and it’s basically, you’re
contributing to the sphere. And to contribute to
the sphere, you wish to produce credit to
previous sources and also synthesize your own
voice. And academic integrity is very important
to permit for that and to make sure
accountability and credibility in your work.
Furthermore, educational integrity permits
students and employees the liberty to make
new ideas, data and artistic works whereas
respecting and acknowledging the work of
others.

PUNISHMENTS:
Breaches of academic integrity diminish you, the
university, and public trust in academic. The following
penalties can be applied for the breaches of academic
integrity :
 Students could be required to do their assignment
again due to a reduced grade.
 Assigning the students a failing grade for the
assignment.
 Assigning the students a failing grade for the class
 Students participation could be terminated in the
research project.
When it comes right all the way down to it, integrity
permits you to genuinely feel sensible regarding
yourself and swallow a way of joy, peace of mind
and happiness. it's a method to boost the likelihood
of being thriving and happy. This is how working
with integrity improve your professional and
personal success.

Task 2: Achieving Academic Success

Peterson and kolb’s learning style : There are four


different style of learning according to kolb’s learning
style (2017) namely concrete experience, reflective
observation, abstract conceptualization and active
experimentation. My learning style based on Peterson
and kolb’s learning style is that it will help me to
personalize any learning intervention for people.
Moreover, It assists me creating new ideas and to
assimilate information effectively and help to learn things
on experimental basis.
Time Management : Time management is very crucial
in our life especially during our time as a student. For
me as a student, It plays an important role in my life to
make me more productive and helps to achieve
success at a faster pace. Also, it helps to accomplish
more with less effort during our studies if we are able
to manage the time properly. Similarly, if we manage
our time efficiently it makes us motivated to work
harder in order to achieve more success in in life.

Critical Thinking : Critical thinking is thinking about our


own thinking and the ability to think clearly and
rationally about what to do and what to believe. It
helps students to develop or improve their own
thinking. In order to further my knowledge and
develop my skills as a student, I would like to prefer
project based learning and figuring out solving real
world problems which allows me to learn new ideas,
concepts and knowledge. Moreover, by analyzing and
assessing effectiveness of facts and ideas, it would
assist me to further my knowledge and develop skills
as a student.
Task 3 :
Models of Business communications : Business
communications take the shape of either internal
communication or external communication. Internal
communications occur between colleagues or
management and employees, whereas external
communications occur between the corporate and its
customers, suppliers and also the media. The following
are the two models of business communications:

Harold Lasswell Model: This model of business


communication is the simplest model which was
founded by the political scientist Harold Lasswell in
1940s whish is considered as the widely adopted
models.

David K Berlo Model: David K Berlo models of


communication is considered as the complex model of
business communications. Similarly, this model affects
business communications by emphasizing the need to
be very clear about the messsage and to use
established communication techniques, to avoid
inaccurate interpretations which could lead to costly
mistakes.
Barriers to Business communications :
There are multiple barriers in the communication
process. There are seven barriers to effective
communications which are The barriers are listed
below:
1. Physical barriers
2. Perceptual barriers
3. Emotional barriers
4. Cultural barriers
5. Language barriers
6. Inter-personal barriers
7. Gender barriers
