MINUTES OF THE 2nd REGULAR SESSION OF THE SANGGUNIANG BARANGAY OF CAMAMBUGAN,

STA.BARBARA, ILOILO HELD AT THE BARANGAY HALL ON NOVEMBER 18, 2018 AT 9:00 A.M.

The meeting was called to order by the Presiding Officer at 9:00 o’clock in the morning.
A minute of prayer was led by. Barangay Secretary Josephine Ventar.

Since there was an attendance sheet being signed by the members as they come inside
the session hall and the presence of a quorum was determined, the roll call was dispensed with.

The minutes of the previous session dated November 4, 2018 was read. There being no
corrections offered, on motion of SB Member Jose Marie Suacillo and was duly seconded by SB
Member Rodrigo Sondia, the minutes of the previous session was adopted.

Committee Report:

1. SB Member Ganat informed/reported that the materials for the DCC were delivered
and received by SB Member Simpao. The lacking materials will be delivered before
the project starts on Monday, November 26, 2018.

Material Cost - P21, 974.50

Labor - P 8, 025.50

CALENDAR OF BUSINESS

Unfinished Business: None

Business for the day

1. There will be a LIGA night on December 2, 2018 at 7:00 PM at Santa Barbara Covered
Gym.
 For 1 Table - 1 Litson Manok
1 Case Beer
to be attended by Barangay officials

2. The Philippine Air Force invites the Barangay Officials and residents to apply as a
reservist, and undergo training for 6 months. Training will be held in the municipality of Santa
Barbara.

3. The Sangguniang Barangay proposed to request the Provincial Government through

Hon. Arthur Defensor Sr. for the assistance in the installation of Street Lights in the amount of
P200, 000.00

2. MOA between the Provincial Government and the Barangay
3. Program of Works
4. Sketch Plan

On motion of Hon. Dionilyn Suner and duly seconded by SK Chairman Eden Mae
Gorantes to request assistance through Hon. Arthur Defensor Sr., the installation of Street
Lights worth P200, 000.00 was approved.

4. Duty of the Tanod

Punong Barangay advised the Barangay Tanod Members not to drink liquor
during their duty.
Last week, during at night someone broke the 3pcs of hollow blacks owned by
the barangay (under the outpost) the Barangay Tanod on duty did not record the incident in the
log book. On duty Barangay Tanods were Gemma Barera, Celestino Gorantes and Edwin Suner,
at the same time the witnesses that Vincent Paniagua was the one who broke 3pcs. hallow
blocks.
The August Body agreed to send a letter of invitation to Vincent for a conference
regarding the damage he makes and to oblige him to pay.

Other Matters:

1. BSPO, Henry Sulleza informed that on November 22, 2018at 2:00 PM, Ma’am
Mondejar , PPO-1 and the PNP will conduct Seminar on VAWC and BCPC. Participants not less
than 25 (parents and youths) every zone leader required to have at least 5 participants.

2. Barangay Tanod Edwin Suner asked permission to the Sangguniang Barangay that he
will file his leave starting tomorrow November 19, 2018 – April 30, 2019. He will file vacation
leave for he will go home to his family in Mindoro.

There being no more topics to be discussed, on motion of SK Chairman Eden Mae

Gorantes and duly seconded by SB Member Maylen Medez the meeting was adjourned at 11:00
AM.
