Understanding of Personal Integrity and Professional Ethics

Personal integrity is being honest and having good morals. I endeavor to approach each

day and situation with honesty and compassion. I have worked hard to show I’m dependable and

trustworthy. I strive to consistently do the “right thing” which builds respect and trust with

others. I can show my integrity through what I say and with my actions. These two align with

each other to show my positive values and morals in both my personal life and in the workplace.

Professional ethics is also an important accomplishment. This allows me to carry my

personal ethics and integrity into the workplace. This sense of honor and integrity carries into

my school and classroom. I believe in “leading by example.” I let my professionalism at work

show that others can count on me and I’m dependable. I believe working in a school also

increases the importance of strong professional ethics. It’s my responsibility to make informed

decisions and to do what is right for students. Honestly, personal integrity and professional

ethics are how I sleep at night. I can only do what’s inside my control. If I can try my hardest

every day, I can sleep well knowing I did my best.
