The resort also offers a back-to-basics approach with facilities. The usual amenities such as a
swimming pool, television set, or Wi-Fi access are not provided, but guests are encouraged to
take a swim at the river, a nature walk to the spring, or enjoy a bonfire at night. This provides
the perfect opportunity to actively engage with the surroundings. Aside from providing
personal and friendly service, the resort offers guests a mix of healthy original creations,
popular comfort food, and home-styled cooking. 

Activities and Products

Popular Pannzian Farm products include mulberry jam, mango chutney, and lemongrass juice.
Right next to the resort are the organic farms, fruit trees and free-range poultry grounds. Both
children and adults can sign up for farm walks, where they can see, pick and eat their own
choice of vegetables and fruits. Pannzian’s cuisine is a fusion of Ilocano regional specialties
with other Filipino, Asian and international influences. What makes it really special is the fresh
locally-caught seafood (including fish brought in right on our beach).Depending on the season,
your dinner might include exotic locally-foraged ingredients you’ve never heard of before.

Pannzian offers you the Pasaleng Bay and the Pannzian River as natural alternatives. The beach
at Pannzian is vast and never feels crowded, even during the busiest times – long walks or runs
are possible in either direction. Year-round, our nearby crystal-clear river pools are great for a
clean, refreshing fresh-water dip. During the spring and summer months, the beach is
wonderful for swimming and playing in the surf, under the watchful eye of our certified
lifeguard. A few paddle boards are also available for guest use. Knowledgeable local
“banqueros” can be hired to take you out in Pasaleng Bay, where you can try your luck fishing
for marlin, Spanish mackerel, and numerous other wild fish. Within 30 minutes drive of
Pannzian are world-class spots for surfing, wind-surfing and kite-surfing. Just ask at the front
desk and we’ll connect you with establishments that offer equipment rentals and lessons. Or if
you prefer, bring you own equipment and maybe even find your own “secret spot”.

The new Pavilion events center where groups up to 200 can gather. Sliding partitions can
divide the space into smaller rooms. And during breaks, your group will enjoy refreshments out
on the expansive terrace, which boasts a marvelous view of Pannzian Farms and the sea. With
no televisions or wifi on site, your group will interact and bond without distractions. The beach
and grounds are very spacious, easily accommodating any and all group activities. There is also
a large covered stage next to the beach, and a smaller more private conference room.

Involvement of local community

• Almost all resort staff are recruited from the local community, who are trained in hospitality
and resort operations and maintenance.
• In 2017 we built the Menelea Women’s and Children’s Centers, located conveniently near the
main residential areas of Barangay Pancian. Partnered with regional universities and
government agencies to present educational and livelihood programs for community residents.
• They have partnered with local farmers in an agricultural association, benefiting all members
with access to government and NGO programs to improve farming and sustainable land use
practices.
• They sponsor events for local families, including the very popular annual Easter egg hunt.

Assessment on How to Improve the Destination

Pannzian has known for one of the best when it comes to the natures natural beauty. Pannzian
has a beach, swimming pools and river who can use to do some water sports. Visitors and
guests will enjoy staying there and will definitely be satisfy because the cost that the visitors
spend will be automatically not going to waste. It is all about enjoying and having fun with
family and friends and they will not think on how many money they've spent because they
enjoyed staying there. Overall Pannzian beach resort will reached the customer value
satisfaction.

Pannzian has a sustainable and social responsibility and this also how they preserve and
conserve the destination. The owners and the members of the resort has a long term
commitment to environmental protection and that is the reason why untill now the beauty of
the place still remains. The land has been in the family's owner for many generations and
they're mission is to share its beauty while maintaining the beauty of the place.

Here are the things they're doing to maintain the place:

• They're keeping the beach and grounds free of trash.
• All food and drinks are served on real plates and glasses, not disposable plastics.
• They're menu is mostly sourced from local, sustainably harvested ingredients, including from
the own organic Pannzian Farms.
• Since obtaining its Environmental Clearance Certificate in 2000, Pannzian has proudly
complied with all DENR regulations, long before the recent “crackdowns” in Boracay and elsewhere.
