Answer the following items

1. What makes communication an important aspect of our lives?

Communication is one of the vital aspect of our lives because without communication we are not
here as well as technology, medicine, and education. Without it, inventors can't invent, teachers
can't teach even we may not be existing now. Imagine life without a relationship, because all we
know that relationship is the connection between people and even between animals. And for you
to have a connection with others, you need communication. To make it simpler, when there is no
communication, we know nothing. Communication is how we share information, feelings, etc.,
with others. For me, it has become the fundamental element, why until this day, everything in
this world continues to evolve.

3. Give an example of a communication situation applying the principles of
communication.

One of the situations in which principles of communication can be applied is in meetings. In

meetings, the speaker carefully studies the topic that he's going to discuss and knows his
audience. He also prepares how he will deliver the information. The speaker also asks for
feedback from his audience by asking questions, and the listener may ask for clarification if there
is a part of the topic that is not clear.

4. Why is it problematic to violate all ethical principles in communication?

Unethical communication has been one of the most potentially harmful weapons of mankind.
Communication has the power to wound deeply, undermine connection, and hinder healthy
human development. Unethical communication has been used to foster greed and corruption, to
foster tyranny, and otherwise to foster oppression.
