NARRATIVE REPORT

Pursuant to DepED Order no. 42 s.2017 entitled National Adoptation and Implementation of
Philippine Professional Standards for Teachers, the Mt. View Elementary School conducted a SLAC
Session on PPST-RPMS on June 28, 2019. The said SLAC Session mainly aims to reinforce
understanding of teachers on the use and protocols of the different PPST-based RPMS
Assessment Tools.

It was attended by 22 teachers from kindergarten to grade 6 and 1 school head. Mr. Cirilo C.
Caborales, Jr. (Principal 1), Mr. Benjie M. Manila (Master Teacher I), Mrs. Celeste V. Alisuag
(Teacher II), Mrs. Rosa Rizza G. Daileg (Teacher II) and Mr. Jonathan P. Escaro (Teacher I) served
as the resource speakers.

The SLAC Session started with a registration and opening program. Mrs. Remedios R. Pagal,
teacher of kindergarten led the singing of the National Anthem. It was immediately followed by the
singing of a Nationalistic Song that was conducted by Mrs. Elsa Bumatay.

After the opening program, Mr. Benjie Manila introduced the speakers. Mr. Cirilo C.
Caborales, Jr. started the training proper by giving the orientation and discussing the overview of the
RPMS cycle. He emphasized the importance of PPST. He also mentioned that the process of
preparing MOV’s for the IPCRF was made easy for this school year. It was followed by Mr. Benjie
M. Manila who discussed the Context of RPMS and the PPST. Mr. Jonathan P. Escaro presented the
process of PRMS highlighting the roles of rater and rate in each phase of the RPMS Cycle. He also
discussed the RPMS tools and MOV’s to be prepared by teachers.

The COT forms and its use in the RPMS, COT-RPMS protocols and portfolio organization
were presented by Rosa Rizza G. Daileg and Mrs. Celeste V. Alisuag. Lastly, Mr. Benjie M. Manila
presented the e-SAT including Data Management and use of the results.

The SLAC Session ended with an open forum to entertain some questions and clarifications
of the participants and a short closing program to award the certificates of participation.
