COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course addresses three areas of ICT in Education: Fundamentals of ICT, Approaches to Classroom
Organization and Administration and The Teacher: A Digital Practitioner. The first module consists of a
range of activities for learners to develop their understanding of basic hardware and software operations,

as well as productivity applications software, a web browser, presentation software, and classroom
monitoring applications.

The second module will offer opportunities for learners to discuss the spatial placement and integration
into the lesson of technology resources in the classroom. The third module addresses the development of
digital literacy, communication software and the use of technology resources for professional
development.
