● Computer programming can be a stressful job, but computer programmers make good amount of
money
● My interviewee is my uncle and he is also satisfied with his job performance
● He makes good amount of money
● He enjoys working as a team member as well on his own
● His company gives him paid vacation so that he can enjoy some quality time with his family
● His company also pays for upgrading courses and higher education
● He is also Pursuing master’s degree online for better opportunities in the future
Personal Reflections on the Job

● My interviewee motivated me to pursue the career as a computer programmer


● Because I am also an introvert, and I enjoy working on my own, this career will be a perfect option for
me.
● This job can be stressful, but I can make good money and take time off to enjoy with my family and
friends.
● Due to increase in remote working jobs, and increase in use of computers in most of the
workplaces,there will be better future opportunities for computer programmers.

● Programming languages- need to learn multiple programming languages
● Communication skills - explain technical concepts
● Multi tasking - carry out multiple duties at once, organize priorities, solve problems as they rise
● Organization skills - ability to focus, mental and physical to manage time and space efficiently
● Attention to detail - to facilitates efficiency quality and proficiency
Working Conditions

● Computer programmers usually work in offices


● They work with team members on large projects
● They also work from home on their own schedule
● They get directions from their manager or client
● Their work can be stressful when complex coding is needed or due to tight deadlines
● They require to work long hours in order to meet tight deadlines
● They work in front of a computer for many hours a day, which can strain their eyes, back, and wrists
Academic Qualifications/Skills

● Computer programmer needs diploma or a degree in computer science and/or information


technology
● Some computer programmers may need master’s degree for high paying jobs
● Some entry level positions might need only a college diploma
● Computer programming study includes a programming logic, system design and development,
programming language and database management
