DRIVING TOOLS

Claw hammer

A claw hammer is a type of hammer used primarily to pound nails into wood, or to remove nails from it.
The head is made of steel and the handle is made of wood, steel, or fiberglass. With either a smooth or
textured surface, one side of the head is flat and is used for pounding another surface. When pulling out
a nail, the rounded end of the claw, together with the handle, is used to obtain leverage.

Crow bar

It is used to dig large holes and to dig large stones and stumps.
Sledge hammer

A large, strong long-handled hammer, used to crack rocks or other heavy material, or to strike posts on
the ground.

Drill press

The drill press is a motorized device that can be used to bore holes in wood , metal or plastic. Like a
handheld drill, different types of bits are used by drill presses to produce holes of varying diameters. Yet
drill presses are stationary or bench-top devices, unlike a handheld drill.
