A major distinction between Zinn and Schweikart is patriotism.

Zinn showed great

socialism and that the government was not for the people. However, Schweikart
demonstrated very conservative views in his writing.

The interpretations between the two authors are very different. I believe that
Schweikar put more personal feeling in his interpretation. On the other hand Zinn
wrote more based on fact and experience.

I believe there to bias more so in Schwikar’s writing. I appreciate that Zinn can take
into account citizens and their feelings.
