ENGLISH EXTENSION COURSE
SANATA DHARMA UNIVERSITY
Course Description
Structure C requires students to have the concepts of various sentence constructions, both simple and
complex, which were introduced in Structure B as the prerequisite course. Structure C explores more
varieties of sentence constructions. The students will be dealing with various types of conjunctions,
transitional words, adverbial clauses, and conditional sentences.
Course Competencies
At the end of the course, the students are able to:
1. construct the right sentences with the correct conjunctions, prepositions, and transition words,
2. construct good sentences with adverbial clauses, and
3. create good conditional sentences and wishes.

Evaluation
The final grade will be determined by Progress Test 1 (25%), Progress Test 2 (25%), Quiz/
Assignments (15%), Attendance (5%), and Final Test (30%)
