Program BA Spanish
1. Course DescripFon
A degree in BA (Spanish) at DSEU would provide students with in-depth training in language,
literature, linguistics, and culture. The cultural classes will expose and familiarize students with
the major Spanish-speaking countries, their art, history, politics, music, and social trends.
Students in literature classes will read key works by a variety of writers, strengthen their
linguistic and analytical skills, and examine a wide range of cultural and social topics.
The students would also have opportunities of specialization as they learn the linguistic,
literary, and cultural elements of the Spanish language in Spanish literature, mass media,
politics, and film.

7. Assessment
! Academic dishonesty consists of misrepresenta$on by decep$on or by other fraudulent means. In an academic se\ng
this may take the form of copying or use of unauthorized aids in tests, assignments, examina$ons, term papers, or
cases; plagiarism; talking during in-class examina$ons; submission of work that is not your own without cita$on;
submission of work generated by another person; aiding and abe\ng another student’s dishonesty; and giving false
informa$on for the purpose of gaining credits.
9. No Network Policy
Students cannot operate any network enabled devices such as cell phones, etabs, ipads or any other electronic network
enabled devices inside the classroom during the sessions unless specifically instructed by the faculty. In case you are
compelled to carry it in person, you may keep it in the switched off mode. Anyone found to operate such devices during
the session $mings will be penalized as per the rules. No discussion or nego$a$on will be entertained at all with respect
to this.
