How to Download Your MOOC Certificate

Certificates for AE E-Teacher MOOCS are now offered through Badgr, the platform that issues
digital badges. Unlike the previous MOOCs’ certificates of participation, these certificates are
uniquely associated with one learner. No one else can use your unique certificate. Your e-mail
address will appear on the certificate, along with a QR code that will show more information
about the criteria for earning this certificate. Your name will not appear.

To download and print your certificate, follow these steps:

1. Log into your account at Badgr.com. If you do not already have an account, create an
account:

2. Once logged into your account, click on your Backpack. Your Backpack is a place to store
and organize your badges. Find the badge associated with the current MOOC:
3. This will bring you to a page with some badge details. Click on the 3 dots on the upper
right of the page. Then choose “Print Certificate.”

4. This will pull up Badgr Certificates. You can choose from a few colors for the border.

The certificate shows a variety of information, such as

a. course description,
b. the issuer (AE E-Teacher MOOCs) and logo,
c. your e-mail address,
d. the date of the award, and
e. A QR code which will lead to more badge details.
5. Finally, click “Print Certificate” to save a copy or print directly:

To print, click on your printer.

To save a copy, click “Save as PDF.”
