I asked my grandfather who is 65 years old how many sodas he has consumed in a week
and he said that he consumes about two to three sodas a week. But his consummation about five
years was about four sodas a week but about ten years ago he drunken about six to seven sodas a
week. He said that he lowers his consumption of soda because it was affecting his health in
terrible ways and he wants to be able to live a long life. For me personally I only drink about a
one soda week. But about five years ago I was drinking about three sodas a week and about ten
years ago I was drinking about three sodas a week as well. The reason for me changing my
consumption in sodas was because I was wanted to be healthier and soda was breaking out my
face really bad when I drank too much. “Nearly half of Americans, 48%, report drinking at least
one glass of soda per day, while 52% say they normally drink no soda. Among those who drink
any soda, the average daily amount is 2.6 glasses, with 28% drinking one glass a day, on
average, and 20% drinking two or more glasses” (News.Gallup). In the “U.S. per
again for the 13th straight year in 2018 to 38.87 gallons per person. Since the peak of 53 gallons
in 2000, per capita consumption has declined by 25 percent” (Statista). Some have chosen to stop
drinking soda due to health issues, wanted to lead a healthier life, someone has taken it from
them or because of wanting better skin and a better body. Whatever the reasons may be it is
