Steps for this part:
1) paste the sorted data with labels in spss.
Total 2) select the scale as nominal.
N Percent 3) select multiple responses and define the variable sets.
4) select all parameters, counted value as 1, and then add.
114 100.00% 5) Select multiple responses, frequencies.
6) we wil get the following output.

Interpretation:
From the Screening criteria frequencies table we can see that out of the total 114
respondants, 36% think that Group Discussions are redundant, 42.1% think that
extempore is redundant, 16.7% think that resume based interview is redundant,
26.3% think that psychometric tests are redundant, 39.5% think that group
interviews are redundant, 4.4% think that technical interviews are redundant,
8.8% think that Business cases are redundant and 13.2% people think that
aptitude tests are redundant.
Implications:
B schools, that make multiple rounds of screening processes before choosing a
candidate, must try and reduce their redundant processes to ensure that the best
method is used for choosing the most suitable candidate. Here, we can see that
most of the respondants feel that Extempore is a redundant process, and so, B
schools must try and avoid the process or replace it with some other process
which will not be considered as redundant. Similarly, Group Interviews are also
perceived to be redundant by many respondants and so, B schools must avoid
conducting them , unless necessary.

The appropriate statistical test which can be used here will be Anova since we have to draw comparisons between three
variables.
H0:The average difficulty level of all the three types of test is same
H1:The average difficulty level of atleast two types of test differ significantly

As we can see from the output table the p value is 0.000 which is less than the alpha value of 0.05 so we can safely reject the
null hypothesis and select the alternate hypothesis.
H0(a):The average difficulty level of aptitude and psychometric test is same.
H1(a):The average difficulty level of aptitude and psychometric test is not same.
As we can see that the p value is 0.163 which is more than the alpha value of 0.05 so we have a very high probability to accept
the null hypothesis i.e The average difficulty level of aptitude and psychometric test is same.

H0(b):The average difficulty level of aptitude and Group discussion is same.

H1(b):The average difficulty level of aptitude and Group discussion is not same.
As we can see from the output table the p value is 0.000 which is less than the alpha value of 0.05 so we can safely reject the
null hypothesis and go ahead with alternate hypothesis i.e The average difficulty level of aptitude and Group discussion is not
same.

H0(c):The average difficulty level of psychometric and Group discussion is same.

H1(c):The average difficulty level of psychometric and Group discussion is not same.
As we can see from the output table the p value is 0.000 which is less than the alpha value of 0.05 or 5% so we can safely reject
the null hypothesis and go ahead with alternate hypothesis i.e The average difficulty level of psychometric and Group discussion
is not same.

2)
The easurement scale required is nominal for type of test and scaled for response.

3)
The concern area for the placement committee when it comes to holding training session would be for Group Discussion as it has
been marked as a relatively diffcult area by students with the higest mean of 3.5088 also it has the highest standard deviation
of 1.04962 so it would be of a concern because there will be a lot of variation/dispersion in responses by students.

4)
In ANOVA we usevariance-like quantities to study the equality or non-equality of population means. So we are
analyzing means, not variances. There are some unrelated methods, such as “variance component analysis” which
have variances as the primary focusfor inference.
