    Edo is 2 years old. He lives in the village of Puncak Jaya which is 30 Km from Mulia in Papua. He
    is crying because he is hungry and in pain. His mother Emmy tries to comfort him but tells him
    there is no food to eat tonight. Edo is also scratching sores on his arms and legs.

    Edo has 3 sisters age 4, 3 and 6 months. Emmy is 22 years old and has only gone to school for 3
    years. There have been ethnic conflicts in the region and Edo’s father Roni was involved in the
    fighting. They have not seen him for 2 weeks. His mother thinks there is a government program
    to help people like her. She also hears that WFP and Oxfam have offices in Mulia and they
    might be able to help her.
