1. What is twelve (12) little things all about?

The twelve (12) little things by Atty. Lacson is about the simple ways on how Filipinos
can help and support our country. It makes importance of what we called our “Patriotism”.
Even though they are regarded as “little”, I think that these actions will help to the
development of our state to a more prosperous and flourishing nation. Actually, from my
own perspective, I think that these things are not the little things we “can do” for our
country, because those are our responsibilities as a people of our country. This is when we
should ask ourselves, “What have I done for the Philippines?”. It is time that we should
observe, comprehend and take an action. We must dream big for the improvement of our
hometown.

2. How does twelve (12) little things impact the Filipino entrepreneurs?

Through following these twelve little things we can do for our country, Filipinos can
ensure an economic growth which is very essential to the Filipino entrepreneurs.
Entrepreneurs come up with businesses and economic activities based on the status of its
economy, that’s why a positive effect to our economy results to the Filipino entrepreneur’s
success.

We should also take note of the four (4) actions which will directly influence Filipino
entrepreneurs: (1) Little thing 2: Always ask for an official receipt (2) Little thing 3: Don’t
buy smuggled goods. Buy Local. Buy Filipino (3) Little thing 9: Pay your employees well and
(4) Little thing 4: Pay your taxes.

(1) Little thing 2 and Little thing 4: it is a must that Filipinos know that asking ORs leads to
higher tax collections which result to the betterment of our economy. Entrepreneurs play a
key role in economy. In addition to this, paying taxes means more funding of government to
the economic activities of entrepreneurs. (2) Little thing 3: Don’t buy smuggled goods. Buy
Local. Buy Filipino. As we all know, Filipinos favor the international goods more—this is a
constant issue that Filipinos must addressed. Buying local goods will be a great help to our
local businesses as increase on the source of income and a way to job creation. (3) Little
thing 9: Pay your employees well. Having a great relationship to your employees is a very
important characteristic of an entrepreneur.

3. How will you connect twelve (12) little things to entrepreneurial mindset?

As an entrepreneur, we must not only focus on the “big” things such as big decisions, big
accomplishments, big investments, big failures, etc. We must also consider small or little
things needed to recognized in order to fully come up with techniques and strategies for the
improvement of your business. One of the examples is employees’ everyday emotional and
mental health. It is our responsibility that you must always be aware of all the happenings in
your workplace that might affect your business, whether it is for good or for bad.

4. Create your own version of twelve (12) little things. You may change the title or brand
of your ideas.
1. Always Give If You Have the Ability to Do So: We are all aware how those poor people
seek to find life every day at the streets of Metro Manila. It is just sad how our
population increases but almost most of it comprises poor people. So, I think that giving
foods, clothes and more (but not money) will be a big help to the development of our
country by starting on our own people’s sufferings.
2. Clean your Area. Always try not to be one of the causes of our pollution.
3. Plant trees. As global warming increases, it is a must that Filipinos will finally find a
reason to plant trees.
4. Practice Environmental Awareness. Environmental phenomena and problems increase
as the month goes on and I think that one of the primary causes is how we take care of
our environment.
5. Do not commit crime. Always think for the good of all and not only for yourselves.
6. Go to school and Learn. Educate yourself and help on how you can make a progress to
our economy.
7. Develop Healthy Relationships. Healthy relationships among your relatives, co-workers
and other Filipinos will be a great help to the Philippines society growth.
8. Promote our country’s achievements and beauty. Be proud of being a Filipino. Never
criticized your own.
9. Take the first step, do not rely on the government. It is time to stop bad mouthing
government and start the change on your own.
10. Always practice being respectful. This does not only apply to the respect one gives to a
person. It is the respect to all things; such as to the environment, to the rules and
regulations implemented, to the law, and more.
11. Think before you click. Social media is dangerous. Do not spread bad rumors and fake
news about our motherland.
12. Participate. Try to participate on the activities that focuses on the advancement of our
country.
