● Grade Level: 2nd
● Gifted Students: Half of the class is gifted and half is not, the pods in the classroom are
grouped based on this.
● Daily Routine: While I am there from 10:15-12:05, we do a lesson from 10:15-11:00 such
as Language Arts as a class or math practice in small groups. We then go to lunch from
11:05-11:40, then bathroom break, and then from 11:45 until PE at 12:05 we do a short
activity such as finishing up any work they need to or computer activities such as
SmartyAnts.
● Behavior: Mrs. Harvey has an extremely good group of students. They all follow
directions and work hard 100 percent of the time. They raise their hands and treat each
other with respect. Learning is truly optimized because they are such good listeners and
like learning with the activities they are given.
● Students:
Samantha- always has the cutest hairstyles, extremely sweet and outgoing
Claire- bubbliest personality ever, loves cats and waves to everyone she sees
Eleanor- more reserved, but is super diligent with her work
Emi- a little crazy, but in the best way possible, keeps our small group discussions
interesting
Charlotte- loves being called crazy, shows me her cute packed lunch everyday
Ella- soft spoken but the kindest girl I know
London- keeps me on my toes everyday, great conversation starter
Ryan- quiet during class but tells me the best jokes during lunch
Isabelle-gorgeous smile and the most contagious laugh
Finn- extremely smart, better than me at making powerpoints as an 8 year old
Alden- super intelligent, knows so many random facts I have never even heard of
Graham- amazing memory, and the brightest eyes to soak up all the info he can
Ari- super confident and hardworking
Nick- quiet except with the other boys, independent worker who always knows what he’s
doing
Blaine- such a sweetie, more talkative in small groups than in full class setting
Dilin- loves video games and telling me how he is the best at every single one
Owen- has the best truth or dares to share and the reasons to back up his choice are
very persuasive
Jack- gives the best would you rather scenarios to me at lunch
Aleah: pretty reserved but really good at following directions
Jake: very competitive when it comes to kahoot
Nicolas: very funny sense of humor
● Inside Jokes: Claire has been my buddy at lunchtime for the past three weeks. She told
me I am secretly an old man who’s
secretly spying on them and lying about
my age and now questions me LOL.
