 My Experience at NUML
Numl is university with a main campus located in Islamabad and other sub campuses in different
cities of Pakistan. I am doing BS Mass Communication from its main campus in Islamabad.
In term of experience, I might just run out of words. Everything in this world gives you an
experience of life. It depends on how you take that experience forward and the way you execute
it. Its my 4th semester and I have experienced lot of varieties here.
I belong to Islamabad and I have experienced many positive things here and also faced different
challenges.. I have experienced many positive things here and also faced different challenges.
But the major thing was that I overcame all those challenges and it helped me in my personal
growth as well.
In beginning I found Numl so boring, because I had no friends here and it was difficult for me to
adopt this new place and culture. I belong to middle class family, so It was difficult for me to
adjust in such type of university where mostly people belong to a high-class family. But after
some days I made some new friends and explored the university with them as they also belonged
to other cities of Pakistan. Now I am very satisfied and happy in this University as every day
here brings new learnings and I am hopeful that coming semesters would help me to explore
many other things as well. Numl not only encouraged me to be academically strong but also
made me a better person in life.

My Qualities as a Student
A positive attitude towards study.
 A passion for the chosen course subject.
 An ability to think and work independently.
 An ability to persevere and complete tasks.
 An inquiring mind.
 Good written English.
 Attending classes on time and regularly.
 Being prepared for classes with all necessary supplies.

Faculty:
I spent one semester in Islamic University, but I found Numl faculty much better than Islamic
University because of these reasons:
 They have created a very friendly environment with students.
 They encourage students to ask questions and give new random ideas respective to their
subject or topic.
  They develop friendly relationship with students yet maintain appropriate distance
between them and students. So, this help faculty and students to learn in a comfortable
environment.
 Numl faculty is very patient and caring. They have kind personality and always deal with
student’s problems patiently.
 They share best practices with students.

Environment:
I personally like numl because if its environment. Numl environment is good because there are
rules for students which must be followed otherwise, they have to pay penalty. Some rules are:
 Smoking is not allowed in campus.
 No one can discuss sectarian issues publicly.
 Students must follow University’s dress code.

Sports:
Numl provides opportunities for students to participate in sports. I am currently the member of
Numl cricket team. In 2017 Numl won the Cricket Tournament. These types of extracurricular
activities help students to stay healthy and active.
