I. OBJECTIVE: At the end of 50 minutes discussion, 85% of the students should be


able to:
A. recognize the names and meaning of various signs and symbols;

B. appreciate the importance of various signs and symbols by creating a


map of their own town; and

C. state the usage of signs and symbols.

1. Motivation
“Mapping”

The class is divided into two groups,


each group is provided with cut-out
pictures and cartolina. They will make
their own town map using cut-out
pictures by pasting it on the cartolina..
To be creative, they will draw and color
things that can be seen around like trees,
houses and plants.
