About MIPS
The Myanmar Institute for Peace and Security (MIPS) is a non-governmental, non-partisan
“think-and-do-tank” providing principal stakeholders with the insight needed to navigate
the opportunities and challenges of the ongoing peace and security transition in Myanmar.
About Project
The project, Peace Dialogue and Youth Peace Ambassadors in University Campuses, is a
positive contribution to the country’s peacebuilding process through different approaches
and from different angles. It will not only broaden political perspectives of young people, but
also optimize students’ participation in the peace process as an expansion of civil society.
Additionally, the gap and hostility between young peacebuilders and negotiators will be
reduced, and students’ inputs will be considered in policy development, which will lead to
long-term sustainable results.
