2. POSTER AND BANNER

a. Poster is one of the communication


media. Poster is a graphic design that
contains images and words on large
paper, the contents of which contain
information and affixed in public
places so that it can be seen or read
by many people. Posters are to seek
the attention of many people, posters
can also be a means to promote
products, services, activities, around
education and others.

b. Generic Structures of a poster:


- Header area,
- Title area,
- Author's photo and address
- Main area
- Footer area, Background
- Fonts

c. Functions or purposes of poster:


to alert and engage the viewer, to
challenge and call an audience into
action, to promote an event.

d. Language Features of Poster:


- Short Text Element
- Phrases and Active voice
- Serif font for text and san – serif
font for title and Heading (optional)

e. Banner is as the identity of a blog or


website other than that the function
of the banner is as a medium of
advertising, promotion, publication,
friendship and various other interests.
Various types and sizes of standard
banners are usually used in blogs or
sites on the internet media. The
banner means an image, mostly made
with a small size that is usually
inserted or inserted in a web
page.Banner comes with a link, which
if clicked will go to a site that has
been determined by the creator of the
banner. For example, banner ads on a
blog, if someone clicks then the end
will be taken

g. Function of Banner:
- Some banners are used to
advertising or naming of collage or
universities.
- Some banners are also used as
media to promote a product event
or service.

a. Graphic organizer help teachers
show and explain relationships
between content and sub – content
and how they relate to other areas.

b. Graphic organizer, also known as a


knowledge map, concept map, story
map, cognitive organizer, advance
organizer, or concept diagram is a
pedagogical tool that uses visual
symbols to express knowledge and
concepts through relationships
between them.The main purpose of a
graphic organizer is to provide a
visual aid to facilitate learning and
instruction.

a. Infographics (a clipped compound of
"information" and "graphics") are
graphic visual representations of
information, data, or knowledge
intended to present information
quickly and clearly. They can improve
cognition by utilizing graphics to
enhance the human visual system's
ability to see patterns and trends.
Similar pursuits are information
visualization, data visualization,
statistical graphics, information
design, or information architecture.

- Visualize the data
