Talent Revue

Purpose:

The 4-H State Achievement Days Talent Revue will be a non-competitive event. Please
read the following sequence of events.
Eligibility/Requirements:
1. Talent review entries must submit a DVD/VHS of their performances by July 1 of
each year. To participate in the talent show, members must also be involved in
another state achievement days contest or event.
2. The video submitted must show the actual selection that will be performed so that the
appropriateness of the material can be judged. Although not required, it is suggested
that material have a positive or motivational message.
3. On Tuesday afternoon, all contestants will report to Eisenhower Auditorium at 3 p.m.
Participants must wear appropriate attire for auditions and shows. Following
sound checks, stage set-ups and equipment checks, the actual selection for the general
sessions will take place.
Performances:
1. All participants will have the opportunity to participate in the Talent & Choral
show that will be held on Wednesday evening.
2. Judges will choose 4 talent selections that will perform during one of the general
sessions.
