The people you talk to at the bank are called bank tellers.

They can help you with many things like:

opening an account
depositing money into your bank account
taking out money out of your account
cashing checks
applying for a credit card

When you are at the bank, the bank teller can make offers. You can accept or reject these
offers. It is important to be polite by saying thanks and saying no politely.
At the bank, it is common for you to make requests. You can use modals and Infinitives to
make requests.

Examples:
• Bank Teller: How may I help you?
Customer: I would like to open an account.
Bank Teller: Would you like to apply for a credit card also?
Customer: No, thanks.
