Chapter 4.ORGANIZING TECHNICAL ACTIVITIES
Rationale:
This module is designed to make the students familiar on the following topics
under this chapter: reasons for organizing, how organizing defined, the purpose of the
structure, the formal organizations, informal groups, types of organizational
structure, types of authority and the purpose of committees.
Also, this contained the rationale, learning goals, objectives, activities and
assessment intended for this part. Since Engineering students have enrolled this
course, they are required to take the responsibility in complying this module and
submit this in due time.

Learning Goals:
At the end of this module, the students will have increased understanding on the
subject in relation to their course.

Objectives:
1. Discuss the insights from chapter 4
2. Analyze the reasons for organizing
3. Define the terminologies in this chapter
4. Identify the purpose of the structure
5. Describe the formal and informal organizations
6. Distinguish the organization structure from the types of authority
7. Examine the purposes of the Committees
