Re: Mr Andy Williams, aged 65


I am writing to refer my patient Mr Williams who is a obese
male for further evaluation and to discuss the treatment
options for his condition.
He Mr Willaims currently weighs 155.5kg and his BMI is
46.6kg/m2. for which He tried several commercial and medical
weight-loss programs, but (use however) he quickly regained
weight later-on after discontinuation. His history indicates that
he has been obese during childhood as well and further he
reports weight gain each decade. (Can be written in A BETTER
WAY)
Mr Williams has been obese since childhood and has
experienced a steady increase in his weight during his life. For
this reason, he has tried several commercial and medical
weight-loss program; however, he reported regaining weight
after discontinuation in each trial. He has a strong family
history of obesity.
His diet Regarding Mr Willliams diet, it consists of composes of
three meals per day, largest meal being his dinner and he has
limited his fast-food consumption. His partner cooks for him at
home most of the time while he eats twice a week at outside
restaurants.
He Mr Williams has been suffering from Type 2 Diabetes, high
blood pressure, Sleep apnea and his sugar levels are currently
well managed with Insulin and oral Metformin. His father and
older sister are also obese and his recent Hemoglobin A1C is in
normal range.
All these years, he Mr Williams was worried about
complications of bariatric surgery which is why he did not
consider surgery for him in the past. (Summarize)
Today, Mr Williams started to think about the surgical option
after refusing it due to his thinking of its complications.
Now that he wants to take good care of his health, he is seeking
knowledge about surgical options and its benefits (This should
be added to the previous theme). Kindly, examine him and
