Position to apply
for:
Driver for Peace Corps in
Macedonia

To whom it may concern,

As a Graduate in German Language and Literature, in addition to holding a position of a Traffic

Police Officer for the City of Skopje, I would be best described as a person with strong
communicative and interpersonal skills, as well as someone with a strict work ethics, which, in my
humble opinion – would aid my integration in the existing team.

Enclosed to this Cover Letter is my Resume, where you will have the opportunity to note that I have
gained my working experience primarily in Germany, and later with the Ministry of Interior of the
Republic of Macedonia as a Traffic Police Officer. This was the place where I upgraded my
knowledge and skills in the traffic laws and regulations, while driving the service vehicle on daily
basis, as a tool for practicing my position.

The three+ years as a MOI employee, encouraged me to point my aspirations towards improving my
personal capacities. Hereby, I would emphasize my ability to easily adapt, to take initiatives, and to
learn with the pace. My knowledge in the area of traffic laws and regulations, road infrastructure and
signalization (with an accent on the capital and its outskirts) is outstanding. In addition to this, I would
like to mention the fact that my father has been working as an auto-mechanic for approx.30 years –
over my entire lifetime, which thought me the basics. These are only several of the reasons why I
believe my interests and experience would help make the Peace Corps volunteers feel safe with me
behind the wheel.

Having in mind that the Peace Corps in Macedonia is highly established and reputable organization, I
consider my employment with it as a challenge I am looking forward to fulfilling. Thank you for
taking my application into consideration, as I am hopeful to hear back from you soon.

Sincerely yours,
Filip Pavlovski
