DETAILED LESSON PLAN IN SCIENCE V

I. OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson the pupils will be able to:
a. Identify the phases of menstrual cycle;
b. Draw the phase of menstrual cycle and label its parts,
c. Relate to the changes or events that happens during puberty.

In relation to that, today we are going to
learn about menstrual cycle and its
phases.
Okay class lets read the facts about
menstruation.

1.Menstrual phase(menstruation)

 Refers to as “period” or
woman’s monthly bleeding.
 The first menstrual bleeding is
called Menarche

the surface of the ovary

4.Luteal Phase

 It occurs after ovulation (when


your ovaries release egg) and
before your period starts.
 During this time the lining of the
uterus normally gets thicker to
prepare for a possible pregnancy.
