 TIME MANAGEMENT

This paper is written to determine the time required to build a road network in Bambui.

This project is of much importance for Bambui because it will help in promoting the sale of farm

products to industrial market (Ewbchallenge.org, 2015). Whole project is required one month

and ten days to successfully complete the project. This project is based on number of activities

which is divided in work breakdown structure as defined below. This project is based on two

main activities in level two which are foundation and framing. Both activities are further divided

in to other activities. Days required to complete foundation are 30 days whereas framing will

take ten days to complete the project. Foundation of road project is also divided into three main

categories which includes, steel erection, grounding and flooring of the network. Steel erection

does not need any predecessors to start so it will be started right after the conception stage, and it

will take 10 days maximum. At the same time grounding will be started.

These two activities will be started at the same time, grounding will also take 15 days to

complete, so steel erection and foundation will be completed in 15 days. After the grounding,

flooring activity will be started and it will take 5 days. Grounding activity is further divided into

painting and track siding but these two activities will be started after making road and

installation of plumbing and wires. On the other hand the second major activity is framing and it

will be completed in 10 days. Framing activity in construction of road networks is divided in two

sub categories which are installation and excavation. After completing foundation and flooring

of the roads, then roads will be made to move the project in finishing stage. This activity will

take 8 days to complete. Before starting making roads, subcategories of installation activities will

be initiated. It includes installation of wires and plumbing will be started to set the tracks ready

to construct. These will be completed in two days.

On the whole framing of the project will take 10 days. In last the subcategories of the

grounding will be initiated because it requires completing the roads construction. These include

the paintings of the steel used for lights and for barriers and the setting of track sides. After

finishing of these activities the project will be completed in all prospects.

Division of the report work in group members is a difficult task; one member of the

group will prepare or make the report in proposing of alternative solution of developing the road

networks. Another member of team will provide or make report on proposed solution of the

project. At the same time one member will write the objectives of the project and other member

will write the introduction of construction project of road. All these members are required to

submit their work on 6th of April; these parts will be provided to another group member to write

the executive summary of the project, and he will be required to submit the executive summary

so all members will read and discuss the points if they have any regarding the report. After

making the report it will be submitted at 10th of April.
