Pre- Production Log:

The following table shows the steps I will take when making my short film.

29th January I am Selecting the topic my film is about and researched key
2021  information about it, so that it will help me in my production. I also
made my Rationale to show what I found, in my research. 

30th January I am making a presentation and a pitch, to show the client the initial
2021 ideas I have for the short film. They liked the idea that It will be a
documentary, and that it follows the life of a little girl, and how the
world has changed with her.  

3rd February I am at my first meeting, with my crew, where we decided our roles
2021 and how we are going to make the film. 

5th February I am making my first draft of the script. My clients said that they like
2021  the way the little girl is portrayed and that we see how beautiful the
world is through the eyes of a pure little girl. 

9th February I am at my second meeting, where we are talking about how we

2021 wanted to make this short film.

10th February I am going to fix my script and add the improvements that the client
2021  wanted.  

23rd February I am going to make my storyboard, and show it to my clients. They

2021 said they like how I used bright colour at the start to show how
beautiful it is, but in the end, I only use pale colours, to show the dead
trees.  

2nd March 2021 I am making a list of all the Resources I need to make my film, such
as where I will be getting the sounds from and the props I need. 

2nd March 2021 I am making a list of all the equipment I would need, and what time I
booked it.   

4th March 2021 I am making a permission form, to send to the location to see if I can
get permission to film at their site. 

9th March 2021 I am making my call sheet of the location where we are shooting and
who is going to be there, as well as their role, number and email. 

11th March 2021 I am making a shot list that goes through the short film, scene by
scene, telling the producer what’s the shot size and the shot angle. 

12th March 2021 We are having our final meeting, where we talked about what time
and date to arrive at the location, as well as what to bring.
